Drive-Thru Drives Home How Much We Love Our School Nurses

School Nurse Day brought all but a few Leander ISD nurses out to receive much-deserved recognition. In all, 47 school nurses drove through a Nurse Appreciation Station set up at Vista Ridge High School. From the comfort of their own cars, our caregivers were treated to a cup of Summer Moon coffee, a Round Rock doughnut, a gift of appreciation, not to mention a showering of virtual hugs and waves of support.

Leander ISD parents can learn more about consultant recommendations for the district special education programming. The district is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, May 26 at 7pm on the latest report from Copia Consulting. Leander ISD is dedicating its next steps toward improving consistency, trust, and communication for students receiving special education services after a district-wide, parent-led effort to review practices and procedures.
