58 Leander ISD Band and Choir students were selected as Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Musicians. This is the largest number of LISD students that have been recognized as All-State Musicians, and this accomplishment marks the first time that all six LISD high school bands and choirs will be represented at the TMEA State Convention.

Cedar Park HS Wins 5th Consecutive State Band Championship; Rouse HS Named Runner-Up
At the UIL State 5A Marching Band Championships held Nov. 6-7 at the Alamodome, the Cedar Park High School Marching Band was named State Champion for the fifth consecutive year. The Rouse High School Band claimed the title of State Runner-Up, while the Leander High School band landed an impressive fifth-place finish.
