The Glenn Indoor Drumline built on 2023 success to capture another state championship as part of the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC), this one in the Percussion Scholastic Open division.
The Glenn drumline, led by Percussion Director Jacob Gall, again emerged from the winter season undefeated, sweeping all five events.
“The Fine Arts department, school and community are all so proud of the Glenn Indoor Percussion Program,” said Mike Howard, Leander ISD’s director of music and performing arts. “They represented themselves and LISD at the highest level at all events they participated in this year. Their performance, which included members from all sections of the band, was a wonderful example of the type of engagement and excellence that have become a trademark of LISD Fine Arts programs. Congratulations to all students, directors and parents involved in this outstanding achievement!”
