Well done to our Leander ISD Career and Technical Education students who competed at state-level FFA competitions this year, bringing home individual and team medals and plaques!
The Vista Ridge High School team – made up of students Abbie Notgrass, Austin Sassenberg and Regan Ostermiller – was named state champion in the marketing plan competition category, and the Vandegrift team – made up of Kristen Tjelmeland, Emma Tydeman, Brooke Cox and Campbell Jordan – was also named state champion in the veterinary science category. Cedar Park High School also landed a top-three finish, with a team made up of Kacey Miller, Cason Johnson, James Sanderson and Evan Mian landing in third place in the agricultural sales competition category.
