Stepping in to serve Leander ISD as a Board of Trustee helped Christine Mauer flex her skills! We continue to pay tribute to our elected leadership during School Board Recognition Month. Today, we’re spotlighting the work Mauer has positively contributed to our district.
2021 marked Christine’s first full year of service to LISD. A year defined by challenge and division didn’t stop her from connecting and learning. Instead, she stood by efforts to ensure compensation for employees after Winter Storm Uri. With an eye for detail and data, she supported mechanisms to ensure academic progress. A mother to four young men, Christine continues to devote her free time to band and math pentathlon.
