Eight Grader Cyan Johnston from Running Brushy Middle School is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Cyan is a member of the RBMS Band where she earned a placement in the All-Region Band and is a member of NJHS where she volunteers hours to help in the community.
“Cyan is a proud 8th grade member of the RBMS Band. She has displayed her amazing musical and leadership abilities by helping during the clarinet sectionals and making other band members excel on their music,” RBMS Band Director Van Robison said. “Cyan is a shining example of student achievement through hard work and dedication!”
Cyan is also in Yearbook and swims with the Tidal Waves Swimming Team.
