Naumann ES: Jungle Book – The Musical

Naumann Elementary School students will perform “The Jungle Book” on Thursday, Nov. 17. The cast and crew began rehearsing for the play in September. Participants auditioned for their roles, and in order to participate, students were required to exhibit good behavior and passing grades.

About Naumann Elementary School

Opened in 1998, Leander ISD’s eighth elementary school — Pauline Naumann Elementary School — is named after Ms. Pauline Naumann, who taught for four decades in Central Texas schools, including 23 years in LISD from 1948-1971.

Ms. Naumann’s tenure in Leander ISD schools dates to the time of the one-room schoolhouse. She was once, in fact, the district’s only fourth-grade teacher.
