Best wishes to the Vandegrift High School football team as they head to the UIL 6A Division 2 Football State Championships! The Vipers will take on the Southlake Carrol High School Dragons on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The team secured their spot in the title game after winning their McLane Stadium (Baylor University) game against Summer Creek High School on Saturday, Dec. 14 by a score of 34-31.
Vandegrift last played the state title game in 2022, where they finished as state runner-up.
Congratulations to the Vipers! All of #1LISD wishes them success in the 2024 state championships.
