Congratulations to Glenn High School senior Melany Gavira, who successfully helped launch the campus’ Future Medical Professionals club. She played a huge role in providing ideas and goals for the organization and how it will be structured to benefit future GHS students. Leander ISD is proud to announce Henry Middle School’s Brian Stewart as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Brian is a seventh-grade member of the Hawk football, basketball, and track and field teams. He is also an active member in the National Honor Society, HMS Band and his church youth group all while maintaining an “A” average.
