All six of Leander ISD’s high school cheer teams competed at the UIL Spirit State Championships Jan. 4-6 in Fort Worth, with Vandegrift Cheer placing third in the co-ed division.
Cedar Park HS cheer also had a commendable finish in the competition, landing in eighth place out of 71 teams.
