Few aspects of school look or feel normal this year. But Leander ISD continues to serve students and our community, thanks to our teachers, parents, support staff, and Board of Trustees.
Trish Bode, our Place 1 Trustee, started on the Leander ISD school board in 2015, leading as our Board President through the hiring of Superintendent Bruce Gearing and the pandemic. A parent of a 2020 graduate and a current middle school student, Trish brings a passion for relationship building, communication, and public policy, leading the regional Central Texas School Board Association (CTSBA) and advocating tirelessly for public education at the state Capitol.
Every January, we recognize our Board of Trustees for their time and talents, volunteering to serve all students in their elected positions. Please join me in thanking Board President Trish Bode for supporting our #1LISD.
