Teacher Tina Strauss at Wiley Middle School is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week!
Tina Strauss is a QUEST and English Language Arts teacher with nearly 21 years of service to Leander ISD. She stands out to her coworkers as an exceptional teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. Her dedication, innovative teaching methods and genuine care for each student’s success make her an invaluable asset to Wiley Middle School.
Wiley’s Physical Education Teacher Christina Wayson said that Strauss stepped in to coach volleyball this season when she heard that the team was short-staffed.
“Tina’s willingness to step out of her comfort zone and learn something new, all for the sake of helping out others, is truly inspiring,” Wayson said.
The volleyball athletes have loved having Strauss as a coach.
“Tina has had a lasting impact on countless students,” Wayson said. “With each passing year, her commitment to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning continues to shine brightly.”
