Math Teacher Javier Coronado at Stiles Middle School is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week.
Stiles student Ryan Klassen said that Coronado goes the extra mile to make sure that all of the students understand math. At the end of the week, he lets them know what is going on the next week so that they can prepare over the weekend. He is very organized and also kind, funny and thoughtful.
Klassen said that math is his most difficult subject, but Mr. Coronado has made it enjoyable.
“Even though math is still hard for me, it’s my favorite class this year because of Mr. Coronado,” Klassen said. “Mr. Coronado makes math fun and breaks it down to where I can understand it. He is the best!”
Coronado is also the 7th grade boys basketball coach.
