Leander ISD Board of Trustees is considering approval of the district’s proposed compensation plan at its May 19 meeting. The most recent proposal presented Thursday shows a 5% salary increase for teachers and a 4% raise for staff. It also raises the minimum hourly rate of pay to $15/hour and increases pay for substitute teachers.

While staff presented salary increases contingent on approval of a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE), the Board approved budget assumptions that take the contingency out. For additional information, check out the latest edition of Board Briefs.
