Several LISD teams and individual runners posted impressive showings at the UIL State Cross Country Meet on Nov. 2 in Round Rock.
In Class 5A, the Cedar Park High School girls team nabbed bronze medals for a third-place finish, while the CPHS boys finished fourth. Runners from Rouse High School also placed well.
In Class 6A, the Vandegrift High School girls finished 8th, with individuals from the VHS boys squad also finishing well.
