Dual Language Program Application Open for 2024-25

The Dual Language Application for 2024-2025 for incoming kindergarten students is available now. Applications must be turned in to LISD, online, in person or via mail by Friday, May 3, 2024, at 5 p.m. to be considered for the program. Applications received after May 3, 2024, may be placed on a waitlist.

Vandegrift Cheer Wins Bronze at State

All six of Leander ISD’s high school cheer teams competed at the UIL Spirit State Championships Jan. 4-6 in Fort Worth, with Vandegrift Cheer placing third in the co-ed division. Cedar Park HS cheer also had a commendable finish, landing in eighth place out of 71 teams.

58 LISD Students Named TMEA All-State Musicians

58 Leander ISD Band and Choir students were selected as Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Musicians. This is the largest number of LISD students that have been recognized as All-State Musicians, and this accomplishment marks the first time that all six LISD high school bands and choirs will be represented at the TMEA State Convention.
