Summer Reader of the Week: July 14, 2020

Leander ISD Summer Reader of the Week Aubrey Henry will bend over backwards for her favorite books!
Aubrey will attend first grade at Rutledge Elementary. Right now, she’s reading Dr. Seuss books.
“The book I am learning to read now is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,” Aubrey said. “Soon, I will be able to read the whole book all by myself!”

Board of Trustees, Superintendent send requests to state offices regarding 2020-21 school year

We’re continuing to advocate for our teachers, staff, students, and community as we plan to launch the 2020-21 school year. Earlier today, our Board of Trustees and Superintendent sent a letter to Governor Greg Abbott, Texas Education Agency (TEA) Commissioner Mike Morath, the chairmen of the state’s public education committees, and the elected state representatives for our district.
