Gabby Chouinard from Henry Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Gabby is an eighth grade member of the Lady Hawk cross country, track and soccer teams. Gabby finished as one of the top two overall cross country runners in the district.
“Not only is Gabby one of the hardest working athletes at Henry, she is also one of the best teammates someone could ask for. Gabby will finish her workout and turn around to find a struggling teammate to encourage,” Girls Athletic Coordinator Pete Hunt said. “Gabby is a quiet leader who many of her peers look up to. She is the true definition of a Lady Hawk and knows how to win with class on and off the field.”
Gabby is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the Henry Middle School award winning band. On top of that, she earned all A’s on her report card.
