Seventh grader Ellis Fellin from Cedar Park Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Ellis is a member of the cross country, basketball and track teams at CPMS.
The coaches at CPMS said that Ellis is a true model of an exceptional student athlete who leads by example and is a dedicated scholar outside of athletics.
“Ellis exemplifies selflessness, compassion and a competitive spirit,” her coaches said. “She is a friend and role model to all of her peers, recently placed fourth in District Track in the 2400m run, and was selected for all region choir and as a national finalist to perform at Carnegie Hall this summer.”
Ellis maintains an A average while participating in journalism and choir in addition to athletics.
