Cambrie Kearns from Wiley Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week!
Cambrie is an 8th grade member of the Coyote girls basketball and track and field teams. She set the Wiley record in the pole vault, clearing eight feet, and she finished second at the LISD district meet.
“Cambrie strives for success in the classroom and on the athletic field,” Wiley Middle School’s Girls Athletic Coordinator Keith Henry said. “Cambrie’s attitude, effort and great spirit is evident everyday! Her ability to come ready everyday is why she sets herself apart from most athletes.”
Cambrie is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
