Leander ISD’s Leadership program will relaunch for the 2022-2023 school year. This program offers a unique opportunity for community members, business partners and families to participate in an interactive, in-depth, nine-month learning experience. Participants will go “behind the scenes” of Leander ISD, meet the innovators of our programs, and leaders of services to see first-hand how the district creates a climate of success for our rapidly growing student population.
The ultimate goal of Leadership LISD is to create a community of informed leaders and district ambassadors. Program graduates may be called upon to support the district through participation in various strategic planning, zoning discussions, district and campus improvement teams, focus groups and other planning committees.
The Leadership LISD – Class of 2023 is scheduled to meet once a month (typically second Wednesdays) from Sept. through May, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendance each month is not mandatory; however, to have a successful program we ask that participants commit to attending at least eight of the nine meetings. Meeting dates and times are listed within the application.
