SURVEY LINK

Leander ISD is asking the community what the district needs to consider when developing a plan to potentially adjust the start and end times of the school day. Feedback gleaned from the responses will be taken back to a committee made up of Board members, teachers, principals and administrative staff for further study.

LISD is considering a school day schedule change to address several areas, which are outlined in this video.

We want to hear from our community about what the district should consider when developing a plan, and we want to know what the impact to our school start and end times would be to you. This will allow us to better understand the impact to our families. Once you have viewed the video, please go to the following ThoughtExchange link.

The survey question is:
What should the district consider when developing a plan to change the start and end times of the school day? | Click here to voice your opinion.

Through ThoughtExchange, you can leave individual thoughts, concerns, ideas, or comments as many times as you want, and then see what the greater community is saying and rate those thoughts. As we leave the ThoughtExchange open, it’s important that you continue to give feedback and review what other members of our community are saying.

The submission window will close Thursday, Feb. 20. We will share the results with our entire community and our Board of Trustees as they continue evaluating this possible change.
