She’s come out of her shell! Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Dyanira Sierra’s passion for animal care inspires those around her!

Dyanira attends Leander High School. The senior participated in Future Farmers of America on the Livestock Show team with chickens and a goat. An active member in all meetings, Dyanira helps with committees. Currently, she’s participating in the Certified Veterinary Assistant Program. Once she serves internship hours at a veterinary clinic and passes a test,  Dyanira could start her career, providing basic animal care.

“Dyanira is always the first to volunteer for an activity and one of our most enthusiastic members,” Leander High School agriculture science teacher Emily Veraa said. “I love the energy she brings to  FFA.”

What an egg-cellent example of ambition! Congratulations, Dyanira Sierra,  LISD CTE Student of the Week!
