LISD graduating seniors will not start their next chapter without the pomp & circumstance they so richly deserve! Thanks to a Facebook group โAdopt a Senior 2020 – Leander ISDโ, the community is showing just how excited it is about what our seniors have been through and where theyโre going.
Taking a cue from other similar initiatives around the country, Lisa Hunt started the group that allows members to adopt a graduating senior and provide a unique way to celebrate them and their achievements. Seniors can fill out a form that indicates a list of favorites. Those adopting are offering gift baskets and other kinds of surprises.
So far, the group has adopted more than 400 seniors. If youโre interested in adopting, these seniors must be adorable because they go quick! At last check, there were only a couple available.
Itโs not the kind of closing that any of us could have imagined. Leaving ingenuity and school spirit in the hands of our devoted community, Leander ISD seniors are gaining a rare and extraordinary experience to connect in an unforgettable way.
