We’re going hog wild over Leander ISD’s CTE Student of the Week Olivia Sponseller!
From her very first day with Leander Future Farmers of America, Olivia has immersed herself in all things FFA. The Leander High senior has raised show pigs. In competition, Olivia has participated in Leadership Development Contests with the Chapter Quiz Team and Career Development Contests like Veterinary Medical Team. Engaged in leadership events and meetings, Olivia has also served as a Leander FFA officer.
This year Olivia is participating in the Certified Veterinary Assistant Level 1 program with an internship at South San Gabriel Animal Hospital.
“Olivia has a passion and drive to serve her community and to give back to others,” LHS agriculture science teacher Emily Veraa said. “She truly embodies the last line of the FFA Motto ‘Living To Serve’.”
