Leander ISD is proud to recognize Glenn High School’s James Clapp as its Fine Arts Student of the Week.
James, a sophomore tech theater do-it-all, serves as light board operator, light designer, set designer technical director and assistant stage manager during his two short years withe Glenn theatre program.
James plans to pursue a degree in Technical Theatre after graduation.
When James is not being “not seen” backstage or in the lighting booth, he can be found on the sidelines or hamming it up on the court as Griffin the Grizzly, Glenn’s mascot.
In addition to working incredibly hard in his extracurriculars, James maintains outstanding grades. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time camping or at the lake with his family.
“James is a perfect example of what is means to be a Grizzly fine arts student,” GHS Theatre Director Melody Morton said. “We are proud he is part of our theatre family!”
Congratulations to James Clapp, the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
