Leander ISD is proud to announce Leander Middle School’s Savannah Reinhardt as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Savannah is a seventh-grade member of the Lady Tiger cross country, girls basketball and track and field teams. This year Savannah has broken two school records, one in cross country and the other for the 2400-meter run at the district track meet. She has also been recognized by the Leander Middle School administration for her academic excellence.
“Savannah is a prime example of what happens when preparation and focus combine,” said Girls Athletic Coordinator Amanda Ellerbee. “Her commitment to excellence – in the classroom, the weight room, and the athletic arena – has propelled her to great successes this year. Savannah consistently represents Leander Middle School and our athletic program at the highest level.”
