Leander ISD is proud to recognize Henry Middle School’s Kendall Rauschuber as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Kendall is the captain of the Black Diamonds Dance Team, a 100-member troupe made up of seventh- and eighth-grade students.
Kendall is an A student, is involved in multiple other clubs on our campus and leads by a positive example on a daily basis.
“Kendall is passionate about the Arts, particularly Dance, and that passion oozes from her heart and is passed down to her teammates,” said team director Jaime Herrera. “She makes the kid on our team who has zero experience in Dance feel like they have the ability to be amazing, because she will take the time to help them, coach them along and reassure them that if they keep working hard, they’ll eventually get it.”
