Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Leander Independent School District (LISD) will hold a Public Hearing on
Thursday, September 17, 2026, during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees, which is scheduled to begin at 6:15
pm.
Texas Education Code § 39.008 requires that the superintendent of each school district certify annually before September 30 to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that the district is in compliance with Texas Education Code § 11.005 and 28.0022. The requirements include a public hearing allowing for public testimony on compliance with the requirement subject to certification here. Following the hearing, the Board of Trustees will consider adopting a resolution related to the certification document that the superintendent will be required to submit to TEA.
The Public Hearing will be conducted at the Lippe Instructional Materials Center, 1775 W New Hope Dr, B1001.01 & B1001.02, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
