Congratulations to the four #1LISD wrestlers who withstood daunting brackets and found a way to the podium of the UIL State Wrestling Tournament Feb. 17–18 at the Berry Center in Cypress. To start, 26 wrestlers – plus alternates – representing all six Leander ISD high schools qualified for the two-day tournament. With a loss, wrestlers shifted to the consolation side of the bracket where a finish in the 3rd- to 6th-place range remained possible.
