Megan Malmquist from Cedar Park High School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Megan is an 11th grade member and Spirit Captain of the Varsity and UIL Competition Cheer teams at CPHS. She is also involved in a variety of groups outside of the cheer team, including the Superintendent’s and Principal’s Student Advisory Committees, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, DECA and Rho Kappa. She is also the National Charity League Secretary, a Bethany Church Leader and a Young Life Junior Leader.
“Year after year I am in more awe of Megan Malmquist,” CPHS Cheer Coach Nadira King said. “Not only is she motivated and successful in everything she takes on, but she is unbelievably kind, compassionate and respectful.”
