P.E. Teacher Austin Prum at Knowles Elementary School is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week.
Knowles parent Jessica Linder said that day after day at the start of the school year, Prum stood outside in the parent pickup line in the direct heat, directing the traffic as everyone figured out the new pickup line system. While many staff members were outside under the shaded areas, Prum walked up and down the two car lines to help organize the process. Even in 104 degree weather, he was always smiling and not complaining at all.
“I have had four kids under his teaching and they all love Coach A!” Linder said. “He’s one of the best. He is such a role model not only to the children, but to us parents too.”
