Kristen Hilsabeck is Leander ISD’s human resources coordinator for employee records and staffing. She juggles many different tasks at the same time in order to ensure that LISD employee records are correctly filed and handled appropriately. She also works to create best practices so that all employee concerns are taken care of in a timely manner.
Kristen helps employees by providing answers to various HR questions, and always looking for ways to improve systems in the HR records department. She treats every employee with respect and kindness, going out of her way to help others.
“Kristen never hesitates to drop what she is doing to lend a hand,” Executive Director of Total Rewards Jacob Davis said. “ She takes the time to ensure new hires feel welcome and acclimated to our district.”
Kristen also keeps the HR department filled with snacks and drinks, which her coworkers greatly appreciate.
