For talents that cannot be contained, we’re excited to recognize Stephanie Manoel as this week’s Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
Stephanie is a hardworking student who represents several fine arts programs at Cedar Park Middle School. In band, the two-time Symphonic band member earned ninth-chair in All-Region Band last fall. She also earned the superior high brass soloist award in seventh grade. When the eighth-grader is not participating in band concerts and rehearsals, she’s working behind the scenes on the CPMS theatre‘s sound crew. For the past four shows, she has operated the soundboard, including UIL One-Act Play where she earned the Individual Tech award. Not to mention, Stephanie also participates in athletics and speaks Portuguese fluently. She does all this while also excelling in academics, serving as a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
“Stephanie is one of the hardest working students in the fine arts world,” CPMS Choir Director Emma Graves said. “Unafraid to try new things, she finds a way to help around the entire fine arts hallway. Her work ethic is unmatched, and her determination and kindness do not go unnoticed. We know we can depend on her for anything we need!”
Let’s hear it for Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Stephanie Manoel!
