Senior Kylee Nye at Leander High School is the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.
Interior Design Practicum Teacher Kari Kimball said that Kylee is an outstanding student in the Leander High School Interior Design Program. During the 2021-2022 school year, she was the FCCLA Vice President of Public Relations and placed third in Food Innovations at Regionals. In 2022-2023, she continued as the VP of Public Relations and participated on the Interior Design Team. This school year, she is serving as President.
According to Kimball, Kylee has a keen eye for detail and a creative flair that is evident in all of her work. She is always willing to go the extra mile and her projects are well-researched and well-executed.
“Kylee started out as a shy and quiet student, but she has quickly blossomed as a confident and capable leader. She is always willing to take on new challenges and looking for ways to improve our FCCLA chapter,” Kimball said.” She is a valuable asset to our team, and I am confident that she will continue to grow and develop as a leader.”
