Three Leander ISD high school student media programs received recognition at the state conference of the Texas Association of Journalism Educators (TAJE) in San Antonio from Oct. 18-20.

Rouse High School adviser Shelby Nickells also received a Pathfinder Award from the Texas Association of Journalism Educators. The TAJE Pathfinder Award was first given in 2015 to recognized educators advising scholastic media programs for seven or fewer years.
