From November 4-8, Leander ISD is recognizing the dedicated efforts of its maintenance, grounds crew, and plant services staff.
The LISD maintenance team works diligently throughout the year to keep the district’s schools, facilities and grounds in excellent condition. “Our staff has done a remarkable job this year meeting the district’s needs,” said Joey Garner, director of facilities for Leander ISD. “We continue to see positive attitudes grow, and we are very proud of their hard work and for going above and beyond.”
As the district expands, the team has introduced additional leadership roles to better serve students and staff while maintaining efficiency. “We now have two general maintenance leads, an HVAC lead, and a kitchen equipment lead,” Gardner said. “This allows us to provide more guidance to our campus technicians and be more proactive.”
