This week is the last chance to complete the annual climate survey. The surveys will remain open through Sunday, March 24.

As an added incentive, the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) will award a special prize to the campus staff of schools – elementary, middle, high – with the highest percentage of parents who complete the survey.

The results of this survey each year provide critical evidence the district uses to measure progress in the Strategic Plan, Campus and District Improvement Plans, and our Community-based Accountability System (CBAS). Leander ISD holds itself to a standard of excellence, and this is one way we measure excellence beyond state accountability derived from standardized tests.

How will surveys be administered?

  • Parents will receive an email with a link to the electronic survey from K12Insight. You can also use this link to access the parent survey.
  • Elementary Students (Grades 3–5) will have the opportunity to participate in the survey during the school day. Students will log into the survey from a landing page provided by their teacher.
  • Secondary Students (middle and high school) will have the opportunity to participate during the school day or anytime on their own. Students will log into the survey from a landing page provided by their teacher and/or through their LISD email.

Note: Students whose parents have opted out of district-level surveys this year will not be able to log into the survey and will be provided an alternative activity while their peers are taking the survey.
