Leander ISD held a dedication ceremony Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 for its 29th elementary school, North Elementary School, which opened in Fall 2022. In her 22-year career in Leander ISD, the school’s namesake, Carol Ann North, taught kindergarten at Block House Creek and Knowles elementary schools, and Pre-K at Whitestone Elementary.
