Families now have until Sunday, March 28 to complete Leander ISD’s school quality survey. Due to last week’s winter storm, we’re offering more time to participate.

Leander ISD is conducting this year’s School Quality Survey from Jan. 27–Mar 7. This confidential survey asks questions that are designed to get opinions on academic and student support, safety and behavior, school leadership, family involvement, and more.

Parents and guardians with emails on file will receive emails that include a link to the survey. You can also access it through our website. LISD can also provide paper surveys at any campus for parents who do not have access to a device. Both electronic and paper surveys are offered in English and Spanish.

We know that the key to children’s success lies in partnering with families. By listening to this important feedback, we can better understand children’s needs and inspire them to become successful, lifelong learners. We will use the information to celebrate our victories and, most importantly, to highlight the significant changes that are needed in our district. In addition, administrators will use the results to develop specific school improvement plans for the following school year.

The online survey is compatible with any computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also save and continue progress to complete the survey at a time more convenient. Students in grades 3–12 will be asked to complete a similar, but age-appropriate, survey during school so we may get their perspective.

All responses are strictly confidential. LISD is partnering with independent research and communications company K12 Insight to manage the survey and collect the results. Final reports will only include general results. No one in the district will know who participated or how they responded.
