Leander ISD students and parents are encouraged to attend the district’s College Fair from 6–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 22, at Glenn High School (1320 Collaborative Way, Leander, TX 78641) to learn more about admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and other opportunities to prepare for students’ postsecondary endeavors.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 100 four-year and two-year colleges and universities, trade schools, and technical programs. Representatives from the armed services will also be in attendance.
New this year: Students are encouraged to register for the College Fair through StriveFair.com. A QR code is available on the event flyer that students can scan to complete the registration process, which should take no more than two minutes.
StriveScan is a new tool that allows students to quickly and securely share their contact information with college and university representatives they choose to connect with during the fair. Students who do not register in advance may register when they arrive. Registration is not required to attend the College Fair, and students are welcome to participate even if they prefer not to share their contact information with college or university representatives.
Parking will be available in the front and side lots of Glenn High School. College representatives will be located in the commons area and the 1200s academic wing.
College fairs in Texas are organized in conjunction with the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admission Officers or TACRAO. Each region of Texas is assigned a week for regional college fairs and individual districts are assigned a specific day.
