Second Grader Dalton Vuong at Camacho Elementary School is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week!
According to his teacher, Tamara Morris, Dalton is the prime example of a caring, honest and determined student. She says that you can trust what Dalton says because even if he makes a mistake, he will admit to it. He does everything he can not to just empower himself, but also to empower others. He works alongside other students answering their questions or guiding them to knowledge.
“Even if Dalton might worry about a situation, he thinks and tries to find a solution for all involved,” Morris said. “Dalton often comes to me with a concern and proposes a fix at the same time. He meets all the LISD Ethical Principles. He is a pillar of society!”
Outside of school, Dalton plays soccer, golf, loves to fish (and all things outdoors), as well as doing arts and crafts. His family says that he is as sweet and helpful at home as he is in school.
