Leander ISD Athletics is proud to announce Cedar Park High School’s Jack Woods as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Jack is a junior on the CPHS cross country and track teams. He led the CPHS Boys Cross Country team to a Region III Championship and also won the individual title with a time of 16:07.20! Even while excelling in cross country, Jack still finds time to be active in his church.
“Jack is a very determined and dedicated athlete,” Head CPHS Cross Country Coach Chance Edwards said. “I nominated Jack for his performances inside the classroom and out. Jack takes the time to meet with teachers to discuss his classwork to better himself as a student-athlete.”
