Leander ISD would like to congratulate Glenn High School’s Faith Murphy for being named the LISD Career and Technical (CTE) Student of the Week. The junior standout is serving a second term as president of the Criminal Justice / SkillsUSA program while also serving as SkillsUSA District 10 Treasurer. 

Faith’s contributions to the program include multiple State qualifiers: 

  • 2 Felony Traffic Stop teams (placed 4th in the State)
  • 2 Criminal Justice Display panels (rated as Outstanding), and 
  • 2 District 10 officer selections. 

“Faith Murphy is a model student who exemplifies all of the characteristics of a genuine professional,” instructor Bernie Acosta said. “Her selfless work ethic and leadership have contributed to multiple SkillsUSA state qualifiers in our first-year program here at Glenn High School.  Faith is relentless in fulfilling her leadership obligations and her contributions have reaped many successes in our young program.”
