Grace Kelly at Danielson Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Grace is an 8th grade member of the Bearkat volleyball team and also a member of the DMS Dynasty dance team. Danielson Middle School Girls Athletic Coordinator Michelle Chism said that Grace is an athlete that every coach wants on their team.
“The second Grace steps foot in the gym, she is ready to work. She goes out of her way to uplift her teammates, even when the score board does not reflect what we would ideally want,” Chism said. “Grace is an exceptional athlete who consistently demonstrates effective leadership skills, an infectious positive attitude, unwavering dedication and strong talent. Grace continually strives to achieve excellence, both on the court and in the classroom.”
Grace not only challenges herself in volleyball and dance, but also in her academics. She is enrolled in Dual Language Social Studies, QUEST and Spanish IV AP.
