LISD is introducing this week’s dedicated and hard-working staff spotlight, Ellen Deckinga!! Running Brushy Middle School is beyond excited to have this amazing teacher on their campus. Ellen is always THINKing students first and how she can help all students, whether they are on her roster or not.
Ellen is dedicated to a quality education specific to every student that walks through her door. She shares her passion for books and reading with her students and they leave her class with that same passion. Ellen seeks out effective and fun ways to teach and she shares this with everyone.
Ellen exemplifies all 3 components of the LEANDER WAY! Her students certainly benefit from being in her classroom. She goes above and beyond for the Running Brushy Middle School students 100% of the time. It is a privilege to watch her seek a better way to connect with and educate students.
