In an effort to improve efficiencies to our ability to manage absences and substitutes, Leander ISD is moving to a new absence management System – Red Rover – on Tuesday, Jan. 17. District staff will receive invitations to create a Red Rover account Friday, Jan. 13.

Key Points

  • You will be required to set up a Red Rover account to use the new system. The account-creation invitation will be sent Friday, Jan. 13.
  • As of Jan. 16, you may begin entering absences for Jan. 17 and onward.
  • All absences entered into AESOP / Frontline before Jan. 13 will automatically transfer over to Red Rover. No employee will have access to AESOP after Jan. 13.
