Results for the April 2019 Grades 5 and 8 Math/Reading STAAR tests have been released. You may access your child’s online STAAR Report Card (results), by visiting the Texas Assessment website at www.TexasAssessment.com. Log into the system using your child’s unique Portal Access Code and date of birth. The results will inform you if your child met the passing standard on both the reading and math STAAR.
What if I don’t know my child’s unique access code?
- If your child has taken a STAAR test previously, and you have a STAAR Confidential Student Report or STAAR report card, the access code is located at the bottom of that report.
- You may look up the unique access code online.
- To retrieve this code, go to the link stated above.
- Click on the “FIND MY ACCESS CODE” link found in the purple box on the Texas Assessment homepage. This will redirect you to the Texas Assessment Data Portal.
- Complete the student information requested.
When your child’s unique access code is provided on the page, click the blue “Go” button to view test results.
If your child did not meet the passing standard on the reading and/or math STAAR, you will be notified by the campus and receive a letter informing you of the next testing opportunity in May, as well as information related to accelerated instruction for your child.
If your child met the passing standard on both the reading and math STAAR, you will not receive an additional letter. Your child has met the Student Success Initiative (SSI) grade advancement requirements.

Helpful information for understanding the STAAR Student Report Card can also be found towards the bottom of the webpage by clicking on the “Learn More” link found under the “I need help understanding the STAAR Report Card” section. This information is available in both English and Spanish.

Los resultados de las pruebas STAAR de abril de 2019 para los grados 5to y 8vo de Lectura/Matemáticas están disponibles para consulta. Usted puede acceder el reporte individual de su niño(a) de STAAR en línea, que antes se llamaba Reporte Confidencial del Estudiante, al visitar la página de Evaluación de Texas en www.TexasAssessment.com. Ingrese al sistema usando el Código de Acceso Único en el portal y la fecha de nacimiento de su niño(a). ¿Y si no tengo el Código de Acceso Único de mi niño(a)?
Opciones:
- Si su niño(a) ha tomado la evaluación STAAR anteriormente, y usted conserva el Reporte Confidencial del Estudiante STAAR de años anteriores, el código de acceso está ubicado en la parte inferior del reporte.
- Usted puede buscar el código de acceso único en línea. Para recuperar este código visite el enlace citado anteriormente. Haga clic donde dice “FIND MY UNIQUE ACCESS CODE?” enlace que se encuentra en la casilla de color púrpura en la página de Texas Assessment.
- Esta le redirigirá al Portal de Información de Texas Assessment donde usted puede hacer clic en “Look up Access Code” y completar la información del estudiante: Nota: PEIMS ID es el mismo que el número de seguro social.
- Cuando se le proporcione el código de acceso único de su niño(a) en la página, hacer clic en el botón azul “GO” para ver los resultados de la evaluación.
Si su hijo no cumplió con el estándar de aprobación en el STAAR de lectura y/o matemáticas, se le notificará por el campus y recibirá una carta informándole de la próxima oportunidad de prueba en mayo, así como información relacionada con la instrucción acelerada para su hijo.
Si su hijo cumplió con el estándar de aprobación tanto en el STAAR de lectura como en el de matemáticas, no recibirá una carta adicional. Su hijo ha cumplido con los requisitos de avance de grado de la iniciativa de éxito estudiantil (SSI).
Cómo entender el Reporte Individual de Estudiante STAAR:
