Kids want to be in our libraries, thanks to tremendous educators like Carrie Breshnehen from Larkspur Elementary School. Research and reading happen in the library, but so does hands-on creating, building, and technology learning. In our elementary schools, we call these activities our makerspaces.
As we continue to connect students to their learning, educators like Carrie work to make learning relevant and fun. Giving students opportunities in our library spaces is another reason why we love our #1LISD.
