Simply radiant! You can see Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week JJ Arellano before she walks through the door!
The seventh-grader at Wiley Middle School represents the Coyotes on the volleyball and cross country team. She also plans to run track in the spring. In the very first cross country meet she ever ran, JJ won! She, then, placed second at the district cross country meet. Impressively, JJ still makes time for Drama Club. When it comes to her studies, she made the A/B honor roll for the first six weeks of this school year.
“A fierce competitor, JJ does it all with a smile on her face,” Wiley Middle School Cross Country Coach Christina Wayson said. “Whether she is in class or in athletics, JJ brings joy to all she meets. Her great success lies in the way she approaches life!”
